You believe that going to war is wrong but as the U.S. does it helps the people of that nation get everything they need as they do. I believe in many ways it helps those people. On top of that War in the bible were not always as nice as the U.S. is once they conquer.
In 1 Samuel 15:2 Thus says the LORD of hosts, 'I will punish what Am'alek did to Israel in opposing them on the way, when they came up out of Egypt. 3 Now go and smite Am'alek, and utterly destroy all that they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.'"
Not only would that be consider genacide and acceptable and good in God's eyes. But since Saul failed to kill everyone of that nation or group of people, he was punished for that.
War serves a purpose and it is a part of God's plan for man kind. If there was no war people wouldn't appreciate peace.
As the Christians who believe going to war is acceptable they are praying for the people who are their so called enemies and not only that we are also commanded to love them. Just because we love them doesn't mean that we can't do what is necassary for survival and the strengthening of God's Kingdom. If my own mother came after me with a knife to kill me, I would do everything I could to live. I love my mom with all my heart and I would try not to do anything to hurt her but just dis-arm her. Which is the actions the U.S. and the U.N. have and are trying. They do care about this country and their people and their rights. I hope that you can understand that though everything isn't always a life of no conflict but you can have peace if you just allow Jesus to come into your heart. Though there are problems and trials there is someone there for you to lean on and carry you if need be.
