Re: Scientology; are u thinking what I'm thinking?

An intellectual friend of mine who is both Bhuddist and a Scientologist had a quarrel with me about this subject. It's all about the known explaining the unknown, he says. But I argued that not all is known, leaving room for the known to be tainted... also leaving room for the unknown to potentially create more of the known.
I guess they believe everything should be explained through logic and what is known. Which brings us back to the unknown. They say there is no proof of God, but there is PLENTY of proof, believe me. Just because they can't hold it in their hands, and pass the Bible off as theory. I'm pretty sure God understands if we only have the general idea.. we weren't meant to understand metaphysics perfectly.
