Vonnegut Nah don/t see it ! but maybe there is some influence, Vonnegut is so depressing! Slaughter House 5 ! Yuk! Tough read but captivating! In a closer comparason and the same genre is Pirsigs ! Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance deep stuff almost scared me, first time ever had to think like a paranoid schizophrenic! Yum! lol! I dont know if Tom has ever been real popular but has always had kind a cult following I still see his books here and there just as much as then I believe! Grog
