Re: More questions
Hi Terry:
Thank you for the additional reference to your name. It helps me a lot, and I really appreciate it.
One thing that I have found that helps me is fresh juice. Do you have a juicer? Have you tried going on a juice fast? Juice fasts have helped me more times, and out of more health problems than just about anything else. You can vary the types of juices to help a particular problem. There are certain herbs that can help with the discomfort in the intestines. Slippery Elm is one herb that I find particularly helpful. And there are others.
Another thing that I was wondering, since you said that you have Fibromyalgia, how is your sleep? Do you get enough sleep, and is it uninterrupted, and restful? And how much stress are you having in your life. You mentioned strong emotions towards your family. Is your family supportive of you? That is, do they understand your illness and lend loving and helpful support? Or are they critical of what you are trying to do?
One thing that I have found, is that if you are ill, you need a support team around you. Two or three people around you that really care about you, that love you, and support you are invaluable. Usually, this team can be made up of family members. But sometimes, family members are so critical of what you are doing, that they are more disruptive than helpful. In that case, you need to find others to be on your support team. These people can be newly found friends, or old friends that you can get reacquainted with. This can be a real chore for some people. But everyone needs caring, sensitive people around them that love and support them.
I can relate so much about you saying that you are negative about your life. I used to be very negative about myself. But I have found that how you feel about yourself, and your life is directly related to how others will feel about you. If you are extremely nervous when you are around someone, they will tend to be nervous and uneasy around you. If you are critical of someone, they will usually be critical about you. People seem to mirror back to you what you put out to them. I found that for people to love me, I had to love myself, first. And for people to be at ease around me, I had to be at ease with myself first. I found this very hard to do. It seemed almost impossible at first. But with practice, it became easier. And we all need gentle, loving, and supportive people on our side.
I hope some of this is helpful to you. I wish you the very best in your life, and improved health.
Good Luck,
Tracy
