virtual colonoscopy

I have diverticulitis..have had it for some time now..have good days and bad days...I was thinking of having the virtual colonoscopy done because i thought it would be the least intrusive test to do...but when i read the sites on it..they say that if you have a history of diverticulitis you are not a good candidate for them because of fear of perforation...anyone know anything about this/

I thought i might sk this here because you know about colon cleanseing..which has to be harder on you..i think
