Re: Circumcision may prevent AIDS

I heard speakers at the AIDS conferance on Toronto Canada this week say that circumsicion is helpfull to prevent AIDS.

These are people that ARE open minded about AIDs, so I don't know.

It is true that this conferance is on the corporate bandwagon about using AIDS drugs and not mentioning the althernatives very much though. So maybe they also swallowed BS about circumcision.

Another thing is that , for some men, maybe a lot of them, circumsicion causes a painfull sexual experience, where the tip of the penis is too exposed and become irritated.

WE need WHOLE truths, where both the good and the negative are brought to bear. Is this circumsicion thing just some whacked attempt to "save" men thru some christian whacked-out thinking? Why don't they tell the bad side then?

Does it really even help to avoid AIDS, or does just a little cleaning of the foreskin make as much difference? Thats what I've taught my uncircumsized son.
