Posting here, lifted depression

I am female, so it might be suspected that the question of male circumcision would concern me less.

Not so.

Posting here, over the past few days, and Googling for information once again, lifted a Depression that has 'stuck' me for a long, long time.

Sure, it's only one layer of the 'onion', but the realization that simply talking about it in a thoughtful way can lift the spirits, cheers me.

I also realized that deep romantic love, as written about by Roger J. Callahan in "It Can Happen to You", is my best thing in all the world. It happened to me the first time at age 46, BEFORE I read Dr. Callahan's book. (Get it from libraries, and second-hand stores.)

There ARE always wonderful things to discover in this world, no matter your age.

To learn that simply thoughtfully clarifying your true feelings on one of this planet's major issues can free a person, is amazing.

Next time I find myself stuck, I'll go straight to my oldest worry (whatever the subject), and talk about it.
