Re: It's great to question the theories but
A examination of our knowledge of gravity, light, atomic theory, EM theory, all have similar quirks. But we don't say "God" everytime there is an anomaly.
Of course not. Science doesn't take on "God" because "God" doesn't lead to any better understanding of the fundamental behavior of physical phenomena. Whether or not God created it, Science is trying to understand it.
On the other hand, evolution is far from proven. So far, what we have proven is that we can manipulate genes in the lab and cause all sorts of evolution-like events, and we can get populations to express specific subsets of existing genes (i.e. microevolution), but that's about it. We haven't proven fish-into-cat, no matter how many catfish you point out.
Evolution is just as extraordinary a claim as creationism is. I demand PROOF. Not wishful thinking (Darwin's curse), but tangible, bona fide, actual proof of evolution.
BTW I know of no evidence contrary to evolution.
Please explain the mechanism by which two chromosomes in one species successfully and simultaneously merge into a single chromosome, producing yet another species, which also manages to survive and produce fertile offspring which then go on to reproduce and propagate the new species. Bonus points if you can explain how this miraculous event also managed to shut itself off, and, thus, why chimps are no longer producing human babies.
