The word theory to a scientist does not have the same meaning as it does to a layperson like you. A scientific theory has a set of specific conditonal parameters. Religious theories are just stories made up some time ago and adopted because at that time only ignorance and superstition ruled the earth. - Though listening to you guys it seems little has changed -

Just because you find a scientific theory morally offensive, spiritually empty - or whatever other reason - does not make ID or creationism correct.
