Re: Diagnosed with Crohns

hey i had more tests dis week and they found tht my crohns has spread, its now in my large bowel, small bowel, intestines and my botom, im having an operation on my fistulas and they have put me bak on the liquid diet and Antibiotics because the fistulas are infected. I havent got out of bed since wednesday nd only got up to see my nan.
My Professor has never heard of the makers diet before but he wants mre information on it and he says that you can read whatever you want on the internet and most of it is rubbish but my local health shop has head of it and is ordering some in. I just have to fink out the publisher.
The thing that annoys me is that the UK blame crohns on stress and dont think its anyhting to do with diet which it clearly is because red meat, curry, pasta and many others make me run to da toilet with abdominol pains and being violently sick. Has anybody found tht fizzy drinks are extremely bad????
i feel really down sometimes with this awful disease because some people think that just bcause i look well that i am well but in reality i cant walk coz the pain, i'm always sleeping, when i do feel ok i do go out and do my make up and get dressed and make sure that i look nice so some people seem to think that im faking, it hurts my feelings sumtimes, it also makes me very emotional. Is this normal? I have never met anyone with crohns my age, as my mum has it aswell and shes having infliximab treatment at the moment, i hope that it works for her because shes been more ill that me. Is all of this normal???
