Re: Maker's Diet and Ance

In the first few weeks of Primal Defense (I didn't start the MD til a month or so into PD) my skin had never looked better. Then as I continued detoxing it got worse. I've never had severe acne. Just spotty breakouts and spotty irritated dry patches. Then it went back to the same monthly breakouts I'd had before. This whole time I was using all kinds of different products to try and fix it.

A month ago, my esthetician gave me two cleansers from her awesome line to try. I started using those and my skin flipped out on me.

For the past month the dry patches have gotten cracked and the zits wouldn't stop. I stopped using the soaps after a week or so, but I really *%#&¤?§*ed my skin off. I couldn't figure out how to help it.

THEN I went on the Raw Food forum and everyone was singing the praises of not using products. So I don't use any of the moisturizers, toners, cleansers or soap now.

I might go back to the bar soap in the shower because it never seemed to irritate me and I like the freah and clean smell. When I run out of Irish Spring I'll find an all natural soap.

I still get my face wet in the shower, and I don't have a filter yet. But if I wash it outside the shower I use my drinking water.

And I've been using coconut oil all over.

So far so good. Remember all those toxins have to come out SOMEWHERE, and your skin's a pretty big organ. Have you tried adjusting your diet in a bunch of ways? The MD is awesome, but still every body has it's own ratios it needs.
