Re: Are green blobs baby gallstones?

of course the green blobs are not gallstones, baby or otherwise. Gallstones are yellow-white, black or brown. they are hard and do not float. since the maximum diameter of the normal common bile duct is 8mm, the only way a gallstone that is 2 or 3 cm can pass into the bowel is via a fistula between the gallbladder and the bowel, which risks gallstone ileus.

These green blobs have been analysed as far back as 1990, and the results written up in a reputable journal.
