Re: Is it weird that I can sense/feel animals'death?

Hey Raymbo, your experience is pretty similar to mine. I have a question..

"In a nutshell, I came home from work and he was acting very strange. It was as if he were a mirage rather than the real thing."

Do you ever have any regrets thinking if you paid more attention and didn't let him out that night, it wouldn't have happened?

When my dog was acting a little weird a few days or so before, nothing I could quite put my finger on along with the dreams I've had. I kind of felt if I had been more proactive in making sure he was healthy and listened to my gut feeling.. It woudln't have happened..

On the other hand, especially NOW.. I feel it was just *that time* and nothing would've stopped it. Then apparently there was another pup with problems waiting for me and I found him 3 days later. Because of that dog's death and the new pup..Well, I probably woudln't have found my way to sites like Curezone if he didn't come with health issues. I wasn't ready for him to leave but this new pup I guess was waiting for me. But that's never happened with any of my other animals, so maybe it was just a coincidence.

Just..weirdness.

"A few days later, I was reading on my bed as usually did in the evening with Casey. It was a waterbed. He always had a habit of getting up and jumping over me to the other side now and then, which would make the bed undulate in a certain way. I was lying there that night, perfectly still, and the bed suddenly moved just as it would have if he had been there. Obvioulsy, he was."

I've experienced that as well. Me and my dog would sleep side by side, back to back and his butt would hit my back just right and it would get warm. A couple months later I had to stay overnight in the hospital and was freezing to death because they sucked and their blankets were more like towels. I was lying really stiff because any movement I made I'd feel the cold again. Then all of a sudden I felt that exact spot in my back get warm and was finally able to go to sleep.
