The fact that Islam supports the beating of wives can never have an acceptional excuse, for it is a crying shame to feel that one must hit and abuse his own wife (the woman that he supposedly loves).

But as long as Islam continues to twist the meaning of love and spread the false teachings of the quran, then evil traditions such as wife beatings will be twisted into being O.K. in the eyes of followers.
