My posted message stated that wife beating is evil.

My posted message stated that the quran supports wife beatings.

Your response did not refute the facts. The verse of the quran is supplied below. The key words in the verse below is ,"beat them". "Them", being the wives.

Surah 4:34
"...admonish them (wives), refuse to share their beds, BEAT THEM..."

In my opinion it is pure evil to endorse putting a beautiful precious person though physical pain.
