That's a good point. One argument against the rapture is that it is a Latin word, meaning that it was added to the Latin Vulgate by Jerome as a interpretive word, so therefore, not original to the Greek. But to say that "catching up" or "seizing" IS in the original Greek language Pauline epistle makes the teaching of the rapture fair game.

Here's a question: who is the "we"? Any saint who is alive at the time? The overcomer (a la Revelations)? The converted 144,000 Jews? Or maybe even the first century Christians?

I just don't know. I do know I love the Lord and He loves me with an everlasting love and I'm going to be worshipping Him in Heaven for eternity.
