I agree about questioning ones salvation.
My reason for looking to support the assurance of salvation is simply the unnecessary fear and anxiety some believers go thru if they are not sure if they are saved. As in, one day they are sure of it, another (if they commit some "unpardonable sin" perhaps) there goes the certainty of salvation.
I know I can support the assurance of salvation biblically, just wondered how people would chime in.
