I don't believe in eternal torment.It is not Biblical. If God was to torment people forever it would be an act of injustice on his part. Even in the law it was an eye for an eye, soul for soul. The wages sin pays is death not eternal torment. Adam sinned therefore he died and went back to the ground.

God is a God of Justice and love. Justice calls for death when there is sin. Love calls for redemption in Christ. All those who will not accept Christ will go to the second death from which there is no resurrection.

Sinner = death
Redemption = life
nonacceptance of Christ = second death, eternal death.
