What is TRUE Christianity?

Seems like there are some people on this forum (I cchanged 'quiet few people' to 'some' people, my mistake) that don't believe in the traditional teachings of the Bible; concept of Hell, eternal punishment, etc. According to them, many words in the Bible are translated wrong. (Ex. Hell, etc).
They say that portions of the Bible have been rewritten by Catholics centuries ago. They still consider themselves to be real Christians, even more so then the folks like me who do believe in Hell and consider Bible to be infalluable word of GOD. They still believe that Jesus is the Son of God and He died for our sin. But they say that Hell is never mentioned in the OT, or its meaning is misunderstood.
So, apparently people like me are deceived because we believe that Scriptures is infallable Word of God.
I would like to get y'all input on that.
If possible, please give us sources that defend the Bible origins/infalliability/concepts of Hell/etc.
The reason I want to get this thread going is because some of the people on this forum bring doubt. I do want to serve real God, I don't want to be deceived and lead astray. Some posts that I read on this forum raised questions.
You see, when you take concept of eternal damnation out, many teachings of the Bible collapse like a house of card. Why then Jesus died? Do we need to go and tell people about Jesus? If Bible is not infallible, then how do we know the Absolute truth... Many questions then arise.
Please share your views.
Thank you.
