here's my 2 cents.

First of all-- our bodies are meant to be little Temples for our Lord . The Holy Spirit wants to stay inside our hearts.

To Honor God, we must take care of our bodies. Not to make an idol out of them, but love all that He created-- and anything that man has created apart from God must be ignored.



Jesus asks us to follow Him and leave the World behind. There is alot entailed in leaving the World. It is not just no longer drinking alcohol, or discontinuing going to the nightclubs til 2:00 am Friday nights. It is recognizing and discerning between what God has created and what man tries to imitate-- even in our Food! Discernment of all that is corrupt from what is pure. an example:-- Discerning that natural vegetables and fruits--raw and fresh picked from the vine are what God is providing for you instead of what junk foods Satan has corrupted through man's corporate Greed.



A person must put Jesus first -- and love Him, and THROUGH HIM, honor God by taking care of HIS Property-- your body that He longs to use as His Temple.


Cleansing the body is cleansing and purging His Temple-- a type of Restoration that God wants to do with His Creation.

Cleansing, and strengthening our bodies should draw us closer to God- as it will remind us of how He wants to also do this in our Spirits as well as our bodies. God isnt pleased if we ONLY take care of our bodies and lose sight of Him. Even our spiritual health influences our physical health- it is all tied in together, and should all draw us closer to Jesus in our lives. Body, mind and Spirit must all be under Christ's control. If it is, you will pray before you eat anything or do any cleansing- so that it will make a ripple effect of love and end up Glorifying God in your life.
