FYI, early last spring I began what was originally the difficult task of dental cleanup, starting with the removal of 14 amalgams. This of course resulted in a lot of trauma, so the new dentist I was working with advised a recovery period before proceedign with having the root-canaled crowns removed. This gave me more time to contemplate what to replace them with. Along the way I've found that my resolve has become more firm. #1 came out a week ago. I've decided to go with the partial/denture method. I'm not convinced that bridging, as far as the way it will change the dynamics (and physics) in the mouth/skull, is something I want to flirt with.
