Re: Why - seeking other opinions and answers!

Wow!! And here I thought I was the only one! Yes, for months now I feel like somehting has happened, services are not what they used to be! Oh sure, there's the usual stuff, the nice music, the preaching, etc., etc., but it's as if the real ~life~ behind it all is not there.

May times I have thought that it would be better to have a small group service right at home, where we could minister to each other and allow the Holy Spirit to have His way. After reading Eileen's post about her drive this afternoon, I'm very much in agreement and I believe that really was God's Spirit speaking to her. It all seems nice enough, but it's as if it's more of man's efforts than stepping aside and letting God be God. There's no doubt we are experiencing the effects of the falling away.
