Re: Root Canal Alternatives

I had eight (8) crowns without root canals. I started back in 1985 and the only tooth I've really had a problem with is the one and only tooth I had root canaled.
The canal is fine; the gum keeps swelling up. The dentist in January wanted to
drill away "some of the gum" and do a root planing job but I never had it done.
I bought one of those water pik things that have MAGNETS inside it, used it for 3 months and brushed with NEEM or essential oils added to the toothbrush and the redness went away really fast. The swelling took longer to subside; it still , after all these months, is slightly raised but chewing isn't a problem. The dentist never told me that if he did the scaling and root planing I'd have to come back several times for more treatments. I just did not want to risk losing that tooth.
But then, I'm into Indian herbals anyway.
