Re: Prayer and fasting testimony Part 2

Im a strong believer of fasting. Jesus gives us some does and don’ts about fasting in Matthew 6:16-18

The prophets fasted in Acts 13:2-3 “2) As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 2) Then having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.”

Doing the fast that I was on (every Mon., Tues., and Wed. for seven weeks), I was working on the roof of my house when I saw a friend walking by (his name is Ce). I called out to him and asked him if he wanted to come on the roof and help me. He said no
because he was having a medical problem. I came down off of the roof to talk with him. He informed me that he was having stomach problems and the doctors told him that they could do nothing. I laid hands on him and prayed for him right there for God to give him healing from his stomach problem.

A few weeks later I was working on the same house and I say Ce walking by. I asked him about his stomach and he said that the doctors said that he doesn’t have a stomach problem, doctors told him that they must have been wrong. I told Ce that the doctors are
just confused because God has healed him of his stomach problem.

Ce then went on to tell me that the doctors now say that he has cancer in his throat and that his time is running out. I again prayed that God heals Ce of this problem. A week later I went by Ce’s house He told me that he was going to get surgery for the cancer in his throat and I laid hands on him and prayed for him again.

God is so good in his mercy, love, and grace. It was a few months before I went by Ce’s house again. I went by there and he told me that when the doctors went in to operate, they couldn’t find anything. The doctors could not understand, they just told him that there must be a greater doctor above. Ce was so happy and I was so thankful to God for letting me be a witness to his healing powers.

Yahweh, God of Moses who led His people out of the land of Egypt to the promised land is indeed without a doubt a good God , all of the time. And His mercy endures forever and ever. Amen.
