Hi Yvette
I re-read my post to you, and noticed I didn't mention the importance of re-establishing your beneficial intestinal organisms shortly after you begin the colon/bowel cleanse. It's not unusual to experience some flare-ups of skin conditions, usually due to the amount of toxins your body is trying to eliminate. The
Bentonite clay helps with that, but after a couple of weeks you'll want to start building your healthy digestive flora back up. I'll recommend three things, and they'll help with both the re-building and flourishing of those organisms. A health food store is the only place I've seen them, and I'm hoping you have access to one. If not, you may have to try the internet.
First, you'll want to lay the foundation with a product called FOS (Fructoogliosaccharides). This not only helps to kill off harmful organisms, it makes it easier for the next probiotics to flourish and do their job more effectively. After 10-14 days of FOS, I start taking HSO (Homeostatic Soil Organisms) Probiotic Formula made by Garden of Life. It's pretty pricey, but really kick-starts the re-establishment process. I build up to three in the a.m. and three in the p.m. before bed, and that's another 10-14 days. It's tough to do with the liver/GB cleanse, so I manipulate the time somewhat. Thirdly, I get a good, multiple, live-strain acidophilus formula. By then I'm into the
parasite cleanse, and it REALLY rocks their world. After finishing my four cleanses, I still take acidophilus daily, and take the FOS and HSO at least every two weeks, and prefer to take it once a week.
Like I've posted before, I'm no expert, but only share what's worked for me and/or people I know. I have no experience with Rosacea, but have read that dietary changes can also help in some instances, especially lessening or eliminating alcohol, food
additives (what a surprise!), and what are known as Yang foods....chile peppers, ginger, garlic, curries, etc....
I'm glad you're finding the postings beneficial, since there are a lot of good people here, and hopefully you'll get the same good results many of us have. Keep us posted, and best wishes for your improved good health.
