If you read Paul Bragg's book, you don't comprehend much of what you read.

He alway's said the shorter fasts were the best, and if you wanted to do a longer fast for a particular reason once or twice a year to go ahead if you were trying to accomplish something.

He also stressed that you should never jump into a long fast until you felt comfortable with the shorter fasts first and acclimated your body to fasting first.

He stated the best fasts were a 24 to 36 hr fast once a week, a 72 hour fast once a month, and a 5 to 7 day fast once every season.

I also did a 21 day water fast. Unlike you, after the 5th day I had an enormous amount of energy. I did 8 to 10 hrs of heavy work on the freight docks and driving a freight truck. When I got home, I would run 2 1/2 to 3 miles at a 7 minute mile. I was like the enrgizer bunny.

I think the difference between the way we each felt was do to the fact that I did many 24 to 36 hr fast and a lot of 72 hr fasts and 5 day fasts before I attempted the 21 day fast. I believe the toxins were cleaned out of my body. something you can't rush. The reason I say this is because I lately did a 28 day fast without doing the smaller ones first, and I had the same reaction that you did. Plus I was 30 years older.

Concerning FIR, You also haven't done your homework. They are not supposed to be hot like a regular "rock" sauna, or a "steam" sauna. The infrared heats you rather than the air so the
penetration is over one and a half inches deep. This is desirable for healing tissue and releasing toxins. Meanwhile, the air temperature is kept at a comfortable and controllable level—110 to 120 degrees versus 130 to 180 degrees in a conventional sauna

The health part of FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) comes from the wave length of 05 to 15 microns that causes the water in your body (66%)to vibrate and give up the toxins. Coupled with drinking lots of Alkaline Water this loosens and flushes the toxins out of your body. Also you should exercise.

You should get to know your FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) sauna again.
