The post that follows has some sound advice, about getting a meridian assessment. There is a growing number of dentists that have embraced "biological dentistry" in their practice. Look around for one in your area.

If your tooth is in good condition and is not giving you any trouble - do the assessment if you like, but if you aren't bothered by the tooth, leave it alone.

Down the road, should you lose that tooth, I'd opt for an implant simply because less metal is used to create it than a bridge would use. There are bio-compatible materials that can be used in implants that can minimize your concerns.

I was looking at this site: http://www.drfarid.com and he is a bio-dentist and performs implants. He has a very informative site.
