I will definitely try to track down some pickling lime and start adding the Epsom Salt. The kelp you recommended is super cheap, as well as the pickling lime, it's amazing.
Do you have any thoughts on Coral Calcium? This comes from the sea like the kelp and both contain a high amount of minerals for alkalizing. I know you said something about mercury or heavy metal content in Coral Calcium but wouldn't that be the same situation with the kelp? Isn't there a clean source of Coral Calcium? It is more expensive, though, I think but it is more convenient than taking all these separate things.
