Digesting Fats
Hi Lisa! :)
I just looked up the product, it has some excellent things in it, but as always I have to ask, are they there in any amount that is really beneficial to the body, adn are they absorbable?
For instance, for
Bentonite clay to do anything, I'm pretty sure it can't be a powder, it has to be hydrated with water first. Otherwise it will hydrate by taking out precious gastric fluids, or small intestine fluids. So why commercial cleansers insist on putting it in there puzzles me, they must be pandering to people who know it's a good thing without caring that it's not truly effective. Buyer beware.
They also use guar gum in addition to psyllium; a cheap filler-fiber. So if you get this product and find it does help with elimination and adding bulk, it would still be a good idea to drink your own home-made P&B shake too.
To see if you are digesting fats properly, check your tongue each morning before brushing your teeth and while learning what's good fo ryour body it's good to check several hours after a meal. If it is coated, that means the meal was not fully digested and fats are usually the worst culprit, especially if deep-fried. The coating will usually be on the middle to back of the tongue as fats are digested in the small intestine.
Any coating towards the front of the tongue indicates the stomach. If your teeth leave impressions on your tongue, that can be fats or any undigested foods in the small intestine.
If you break out in
Acne near a lymph site, like the jaw line, chest, or have oily forehead, chances are its fats, sometimes the jawline breakout is an allergy or
Iodine overdose.
