Re: How can I get rid of goiter?
Hiya IntuitiveGal! Welcome to the forum. :)
Dairy may be bad, but if it's cooked, simmered for like 10 minutes with herbs, it's actually healing. Naturally raw, non-homogonized is best but it can be difficult to remain stocked up on that.
Soy is not not not a good replacement for milk. Did you read my post in response to the goiter issue? All those recommendations will work for you. A goitregen is a compound that tends to cause goiters, that's all. Soy has a compound in it that causes goiters, more so than anything else I know of. The other common cause of goiter is too much protein and organ meats. In Britain lots of people get goiters, or used to in the past anyway when they ate absolutely every part of every animal in existence!
A strong liver is essential for thyroid health, as is good strong digetion overalll, so persuse my notes on increasing digestive power and start looking into liver management.
Are your lab tests hyper or hypothyroid?
