Re: No - not necessarily/To garcia
The exercise basically wiped out my immune system. A game of tennis for me was the equivalent of running 2 marathons back-to-back. As a result the candida was able to go about its business uninterupted, manifesting itself as thrush (candida of the mouth).
BTW I took Primal Defense for a few days and *yes* I did feel a lot better, but it didn't last. I am now tackling the root problems and feel I am making real progress. Candida is a symptom not a disease - this is why orthodox medicine refuses to acknowledge that otherwise healthy people can get candida. Only the severely immune-compromised (e.g. Aids, Cancer etc.) are supposed to get candida because a healthy immune system will keep it at bay. However orthodox medicine does not recognize that many/most of us may be immune compromised through poorly-functioning (but not damaged) livers, and enviromental toxins.
My advice to you is 1. Get your candida diagnosis confirmed somehow as any doubt you have will play on your mind. 2. Start a programme of tackling the underlying condition which is leading to candida. For me I believe a poorly functioning liver is key, and I am doing a series of liver-flushes and taking liver support as the backbone of my recovery programme.
