god bless you i cried when i read your message partly i think because it raises so manymemories for me of the way my addiction took over my life and the effects that it surely had on all of my children who are in care as a direct result of my addiction i am clean today and have been for 10mth and my advice to you is allthough your mum is in the depths of addiction she will know you love her its not that people stop loving its more i think that people become powerless and have little control over addiction and the many ways that it so destroys a person hopefully your mum will one day want something more and will find within herself the courage to overcome its not easy for members of ones family to cope i know i do hope that you will support your mum and at the same time get support for yourself its clear that you love her and from my own experience i know that your mum will allways love you there are out there some very good support groups for members of family that are going through what you are i would urge you to seek them out god bless you and i hope truly that things will work out for you Tweet
