Re: Try to take only whole food Vitamin C-- very important
Hi shotsee,
Are you sure?
What did you really write from the source you obtained this supposed info?
What does it really say?
Your say the kidneys regulate the pH, yet lack explaining how it may do this?
Where does it get the different ions to do this?
Then you talk about protein in connection to pH changes by other ions of hydrogen and sodium and chloride etc??
So just where do these ions come from??
I believe you may want to re-think this idea!!
For as you first said that the body does not need to rob calcium or other minerals from the bones, this is correct "IF" there are enough Alkaline Minerals reserves in the body to deal with the acids presented into the system to neutralize these acids!!
Or if there is enough Protein in the isotope form of ammonia to neutralize these acids!! But of course then what do you do when the Protein isotope changes into the Acidic form then??
I would not rely upon the info provided in Wikipedia as being accurate in these matters!!
Smile Tis your choice.
