Yeah unfortunately, top of the line biological dentists costs more than the average dentist; you are guaranteed to have a great job done but you have to be able to afford it too. My case I had 6 fillings if I recall replaced. Each filling cost between $300 to $400, and that included Amalgam removal, with homepathics and some herbal supplements preremoval, as well as placing a resin composite. None of the work I had done there required any crowns – he took the Amalgam and put in the composite in its place. If the tooth was severely damaged then probably a crown would have to be placed (structural damage), but none of my teeth were. I would devise against any crowns placement unless its needed, because they are costly and the dentist would need to grind the tooth to put in on top. I couldn’t tell you how much the diamond lite would be – I believe the actual Amalgam removal might be around $200 and the other half was for placing resin – so you might have to add diamond lite cost + ~$200 for the amalgam removal (that’s my guess).

Whether or not you pick composite, the material should be tested by the dentist – it would make no sense you remove mercury and put another metal compsite in – he’s very aware of metal danger and he may raise the issue of putting gold in it. All the work was done 1.5 years ago and good thing my insurance covered ~80%.
