Re: What is the most reliable bio compatibility test, if necessary?
I had my
Amalgams removed in CT by Dr Breiner - he offers a serum test for materials biocompatibility - he did have this done, however he did the electrodermal screening test. I ended up having the
Amalgams replaced with composite.
If you have test done you should also test composites as they are cheaper options and may be well biocompatible. Diamondlite probably may be the best choice (expensive however). Personally I would not get another alloy placed; a a metal is a metal and will conduct electricity so it may affect your meridians and nervous system. Specially when there are dissimilar metals in mouth - it will create a battery affect when in contact with saliva.
Just make sure the dentist follows necessary precautions (rubber dam oxygen mask, pre a post chelating and vits supplements as necessary).
Not to downplay amagalms risks but, if you have
root canals make sure you have them examined;
root canals may well be the most dangerous procedure that a person can have done.
Good luck
Mike
