Thanks for your response. I'm not aware of having an iron overload. I can check into that. As for how much I'm taking:

* MSM - per bottle recommendation, 3 at each meal - so 9/day (1000 mg capsules)
* Vit C - varies, but I try to take around 10 grams per day. Usually will take 3-6 1000 mg during the day, then another 4 or so at bed time.

Re: Oxygen and blood supply... I also use an oxygen supplement. I read one of your posts that advised not to take Oxygen and Vit C at same time, so I space them at least an hour or so apart. When my hair was falling out the most, I wasn't using an Oxygen supplement. I wish I had kept a log of what I was taking, when, etc so I could distinguish a pattern but since I didn't I'm trying to remember the sequence of events.

Your comment about the Vit C depleting something else makes sense. If I remember correctly, it was not long after I started taking the Vit C that my hair started falling out. I think my hair is a little thicker now (what's left! lol), so I attribute that to the MSM. Now, I'm trying to ensure no more leaves me, and that I can encourage re-growth. I'm hoping the MSM will help with that as well.

Question - While I'm figuring this out, is it sufficient to substitute Echinechea (sp?) for the Vit C? Will I still get immune system boost/support from the Ech.?
