If I didn't think you were crazy enough to hunt me down, I would provide my credentials-- I assure you, I AM a doctor. Have been for 14 years. I am also a tenured faculty member at a major medical school.

Maybe the bath-houses YOU hang out in have rampant contamination by drug-resistant strains of staph, but I can also assure you that billions of people on this planet have had burns and other "openings" in the skin without dangerous infections.

I must acknowledge that I do not know for a fact that the infected DRG cells were killed. But I DO know for a fact that I have had no epidermal outbreaks and that none of my sexual partners has reported infection (and most of them have remained close friends for over four years).

I am not trying to fool anyone. I am just trying to share my experience and the hypothesis that led me to try it. If I wasn't busy trying to cure multiple sclerosis, I'd get a(nother) grant to study this strategy in the lab.
