you just didnt break out again.
some people never break out again after the first time. herpes hides in the nerves in the base of your spine and travels out to the genital region. it does not live on surface skin nerves only.

you can still pass this on to future partners. if you went to go get a herpes blood test i am sure you would come back positive. which means your immune system is doing its job at keeping from being sick.

glad you are healthy...but the burning didnt get you there.
