you can damage the tips of nerves anywhere in the body without destroying the root of the nerve. you are not a doctor. quit lying. quibbling over words that you dont agree outlines the location of the homebase directly doesnt change the fact of that is where the herpes virus lies dormant.NOT on the surface. if it was only on the surface them you could pass it on everytime you touched something or someone. which doesnt happen.

to destoy the nerve all the way down would take a radiant type therapy that was more invasive than a surface burn. and to have burns on an area would leave the person open to infection and could easily become septic from infection or lose thier penis.no matter what the size the burn it is. infection needs an opening. not a mansion.

maybe you think you are not breaking out,because you did damage the surface nerves to the point where you wont feel a prodrome (dendrite nerves). and herpes does go deeper than the surface skin to where you can not burn. that is why people with health issues have problems with it attacking the brain and spine.

herpes means "to creep" so if you destroyed one outlet or think you did, it will search for another until your immune system learns to supress it. something you also would know if you were a doctor. if your cure was really a cure...all topical treatments would be a cure.

as with the whole family of the herpes virus(shingles/chickenpox/mono/type1&2/etc.)

you carry the infection for life. it lives deep within your nerves and doesnt go away. but a healthy body will build anti-bodies to fight it on its own and beat it into submission.
