Herpes encephalitis?

Hello,

I am blood test antibody confirmed HSV1. I have been having outbreaks for just under a year. I started having headaches about 6 weeks ago. At first I thought it might be because I am on supressive 2x500 a day Valtrex and have been for many months. However, something seems different and perpetual about my headaches. While they are light right now they are there most of the time. Additionally my eyes are lightly bloodshot. They have been slightly worse than they are now but, I have treated them with drops of colloidial silver and reguler lubricating eye drops so they have gotten a little bit better.

I was wondering what anyone might think about my symptoms and if anyone knew anyone who had treated themselves for this.

Does it sound like I am developing herpes of the brain (herpes encephalitis)?

I am devestated as in the best case I'm looking at minor to major neurological damage and in the worst case death.

I have been googling and the information I have found is not very encouraging at all.

There has been mention of acyclovir that is formulated to penetrate the brain more effectively. Does anyone know of these products?

Thanks,

Brandon
