Re: herpes and pregnancy
There was an observation among the Chinese that the babies borned of C-Section (can't be borned naturally) are usually smarter kids by natural. The kids excel academically even in kindergarden, as they will snatch newspaper to read, write longer sentences in composition, read the psychology of adults and behave accordingly, etc. Maybe these are coincidents as well as to comfort the mothers bearing the cut.
Don't be scare of C-Section. A lot of Asian women have small pelvic bone and had two babies all delivered thru' C-Section. And I've a large frame bone friend who is 5 feet 7 Chinese lady yet the head of the baby did not come down to the birth canal at due day, she had to have C-Section delivery. You won't feel anything during the delivery as from my friend's comment, because of anasthesia. It is only the recovery might be a little slower than natural birth, and with the stomach feeling the air gone inside.
It is better to pre-arrange for one with the doctor than till the last minute. My former supervisor was wheeled to C-Section at last minute for the baby did not come out naturally, and she was awaked during the cut. And another friend said the pain in the childbirth is much stronger than the snap in the body that you won't care so much about it, and just wish it finished.
