Yes, symptom can last forever. I read in Dr. Saul Pressman's website, one lady had outbreak after another for 4 months on the first episode that her boyfriend who infected her asked for her on the website.

A Korean lady I knew had non-stop outbreak. There must be some other bacteria/ parasite or food allergies that triggered to non-stopped outbreak. Try Ozone rectal insufflation and I.V. hydrogen peroxide, for after those my outbreak is less. Also, fasting, prayer, repentence, change of heart helped my outbreak to be less intense.

As all STD, woman suffered more pain due to having more mucous membrane. And the worst part is a woman has to think about bearing a child while a guy does not have that much pressure.
