Re: Yeast or more?

Yeast Infection can be very itchy, too. However, not as meanfully itch as Herpes. I had experienced itch from athletic foot, ezcema, mosquito bite, yeast infection, and Herpes. Herpes and can only be described as meanfully itch on the first episode.

Some people have candida always and even man who drink beer or on Antibiotics long have frequent yeast infection, and last for years. So you are not alone as one who has frequent yeast infection.

I happened to borrow a book from my doctor named " The Yeast Connection---A Medical Breakthrough----and was written by William Crook, M.D. Publisher is Professional Books in Jackson,Tennessee. 16th edition is on 1989. " It had the table of content as below:

1) How you Suspect, Identify and Treat Yeast-connected illness?
2) To control Candida, you must change your diet.
3) Keep Candida under control requires more than medication and a special diet.
4)Manifestations of Yeast connected illness.
5) Other Helpful Information.
6) The Yeast Connection Update.

You can search any books in the library or website with the model as above as a start.

To summarize the food to avoid, it is as followings:

Pls try to eliminate Sugar & Sugar containing foods even honey, sucrose and maple syrup, cheese, dairy product, bread, pastries and other raised bakery goods, alcoholic drinks, condiments, sauces that cotain vinegar, and even soy sauce. Elimate malt products, processed & smoked meats, edible fungi ( all types of mushrooms, morels ), melons, expecially cantaloupe, avoid coffee and tea (even herb tea ), fruit juices except fresh squeezed juices, dried candied fruits and leftovers. Candida activates with the consumption of those food.

It also said food allergies , a moldy fungi environment, birth control pills, Acne medications, hormonal changes can trigger yeast overgrowth. And avoid as much chemicals as possible. It said perfume, so we can include unnecessary makeups or accidental spill of toilet bowl cleaner/bleach on the hands.

The doctor recommended a drug named Nizoral. However, check for the side effect before advising your doctor to prescribe Nizoral. Nizoral is a potent anticandida medication and contains Ketoconazole. As for non-medicated alternative, the doctor recommended caprylic acid. This substance is a short chain of saturated fatty acid, and the dosage is 3-12 in a day for the branded named of Capricin. Also, caprylic acid is commonly marketed in the brand named of caprystatin, capricin, candistat-300 and kaprycidin-A per the book. I've seen Caprylic acid as one chief ingredient in any yeast cleansing medication in any health food store, but I never try that, and don't know how effective they are.

Vitamin C, Garlic, Lactobacillus, Acidophilus, essential fatty acid and minerals all help. Since I need to give back the book to the doctor, I can't give more information than this. Pls check out other books/website similar to this general guidance and get feedback from patients who have yeast infection to help you more.

The last is for bread, some doctors argued how bad is bread ( not enriched wheat noodles---it is said bad ) though it contains yeast. Some doctors thought the chemical component of bread is changed so much after extreme high temperature baking. And some question how bad is yogurt for candida, as it contains lactobacillus and acidophilus, though it is diary product, some people thought the way it is made is different from milk. Give the Lord thanks for you don't have Herpes. Yeast Infection is God's way to protect you of other possible STD that you will be careful to avoid them, as yeast infection is so itchy already that you don't want the bigger demons. I remembered on the fateful night that I slept with my ex who gave me Herpes, I said to myself yeast infection is so bad already, I don't want anymore trouble, yet I was weaked minded to be manipulated by that liar whose real profession is in marketing, so I still got Herpes. I just want to add this 2 cent for those who does not have Herpes can relate to Yeast Infection as a warning.
