While not everyone is sensitive to foods (I know a few people who could eat anything they want and not breakout) I think that for people who ARE food sensitive alkalinity is the key to staying healthy. (Even if a person isn't dealing with "H".)
Taking a look at a food alkalininty chart (there are lots of them on the web and, unfortunately, they're not all in agreement) I was surprised to find out that grapefruit and orange juices become alkaline once they're metabolized in the body.
In addition to the BHT, I've also recently purchased another juicer to make "green" and fruit juices. Both vegetables and fruit showed up on the "alkaline" side.
