Hi, BHT is a synthetic antioxidant. It is used as a preservative in cereal packaging, butter, etc... For more information, just do some web searches using the keywords "BHT" and "Herpes". You can also follow the links in my previous post. Just look down at the messages below and find BHT in the headline. Hope this helps you.
