If I understand gnosis a little is that Gnostics are trying to find a God by looking deeper into scriptures and texts that have been removed from the Bible. Did you know that several books have been removed from the Bible? There are other sayings that Gnostics believe come from Christ that Gnostics believe were taught by the early Church but were left out for various religious and political reasons.
I don't consider myself to be a Gnostic but I found several books in an old family Bible that are not in the King James Bible or any common Bible used by the Christian Church. Imagine that this change is only a recent occurance and you might have a different perspective on Gnosis. If they(and who is they) removed books in the Bible that were there for most of its history then we may have been deceived by those who didn't agree with those removed texts. If those books were removed by those who oppse the true teachings of God then what else did they remove or not include? I am a Christian and I am searching
for answers to these questions. If there is a Gnostic who can answer these questions, I would like to hear their answers. So far, in this forum, I have seen a lot of posts but few answered questions outside of an odd sort of debate. Gnostics, what do you personally think has happened to the lost or deleted sacred texts of God & the teachings of Christ?
