I dont' want to sound stupid, but maybe layoff things that may make you more sensitive to things. Like for me, Caffeine, can make me more sensitive, irritable, i had to quit ten years ago. i still eat chocolate, who doesn't? That is just some advice, take some nerve tonics(herbs), who knows might help? The dentist told me composites might make one more sensitive to heat/cold, it may take a while for your nerves to acclimate.

good luck!
