Will have to put that on my list...given the looming situation with the thing that uniquity posted on yesterday, we're looking into growing medicinal herbs that would do well in the high desert of the eastern Sierra. Milk Thistle does very well, grew some last year...but, harvesting? I let the finches have at it...

& yes, we love our little warty friends. I made some toadhouses out of broken pots(..I broke the pots especially for them..) although now they're completely overgrown....I put little terra cotta lions at the entrance to one. Is that not disgustingly CUTE!!!???
