Re: Chelating with amalgams still in mouth
There's a post by Andy Cutler in the Yahoo groups which I'm sorry that I can't find right now. Maybe TK could find it.
Andy's point was that the chelating agent gets mixed with the saliva in minute amounts and that is how the mercury is pulled from the fillings.
So the question is maybe whether or not the probably small amount of mercury that is pulled from the fillings in this respect is an acceptable trade-off for the benefits of chelation.
I would logically assume that the more fillings you have, the more mercury would be pulled.
I doubt if there has been much testing to find say, DMSA, in the saliva after taking a pill. So discussion on this topic will tend to be more theoretical than based on extensive testing. Though I would assume testing for that alone would be very easy to do.
You can give it a try and see what your results are. I am definitely sympathetic to individuals who can't have the
Amalgams removed, usually due to financial circumstances. So I would like to think it would be possible, but there are likely dangers involved.
Good luck whatever path you take. :-)
