Re: Cilantro Proof?

Chris,
Sorry to see you go. Its always good to hear some new options. Unfortunately, for every genuine person that is really mercury or heavy metal poisoned, like I am or perhaps you are, there are also people posting out here to push agenda's and products.

And lots of us, like me, still get pretty hot under the collar easy. ( right before I had my fillings out, just getting mad would turn me red as a beet and cause my entire chest, head and neck to flush )

I would be sorry to see you leave, we always need some new perspectives. I think your theory is interesting, as I eat lots of "Almonds" which seem to help keep my intestinal tract clean. Almonds also contain Phytic acid, from what I remember reading along with lots of fiber. Probably good for helping to move toxins out of the intestines.

Anyway, please don't take everything too much to heart. There are always many heated arguments out on these boards or any alternative health boards. If you really think your methods work, continue posting and do what you can to back it up. I post what I believe all the time, even though some disagree with what I have to say.

My personal opinion is that several of the chelation methods do work, but it all depends on several factors:
1. Whether you kidneys or liver are the stronger processor of heavy metals.
2. How damaged your immune system is.
3. Any allergies you have.
4. Whether the heavy metals are in combination with a yeast, parasite, viral or bacterial infection ( or all 4 ).
5. Whether or not you have any genetic defects in your body's enzyme or detoxification path ways.
6. If you have leaky gut.

So your methods are probably very valid and work for some people and not for others.

For instance Alpha Lipoic Acid, which is proven by some research to work, does not work well for me, but works great for other people.

Cilantro did work for me, but its moves the stuff around too much, so I had to stop using it. But Cilantro has helped other people.

I'm now using Nanotized Chorella, which works great for me, and is a part of the formulation of several products on the market. But there are people that claim they have been harmed by Chorella.

I think the thing to rememeber is that all chelation carries some danger with it. And many people have had bad experiences because they chose the wrong chelator to use for their situation, or they got bad advice and used the wrong chelator and/or dosage, or method of administration.

Hope you stick around...

cheers,
Mike
